Types of peer review

This work was created for eLife, a non-profit organisation inspired by research funders and led by scientists. This artwork was designed to complement a series of articles discussing the method by which funding agencies, journals and universities review papers, grant applications and people.

The artwork highlights the peer review process in general and compliments the articles which discuss ways in which the peer review process can be further improved in order to reduce bias, increase transparency and respond to author preferences.
